  • Making Equity Work: This is a three-day seminar designed to improve student achievement, to build leadership skills, and to build cultures of excellence and high performance. The focus of the skill building is on solving challenging problems that stem from cultural, economic, learning style, and other differences. This seminar is for leaders at the district and building level, as well as professionals who are candidates for future leadership positions who wish to help schools become more effective organizations. They will learn how to apply correlates of effective schools to deliver consistently high performance of students and teachers. They will learn how to more creatively use available resources to support and motivate high performance from all members of the organization. Participants will create a strategic plan for improving inclusion and equity by responding to particular issues within their current environment. They will identify indicators for assessing problem areas and practiced using metrics for monitoring the issues they focus on.  Click here for more information!

  • 5 Steps to Changing School Culture: This keynote presentation reviews the key elements in changing school culture to erase achievement gaps. Participants consider the role of culture, data, motivation, expectations and accountability in managing change. Participants are engaged through the use of musical, visual and interactive components of the presentation. Full day and other formats are possible for more comprehensive coverage of each topic.

  •  ID3 Instructional Decisions Driven by Data: This one day workshop for teachers and school leaders takes participants through the challenging decisions that must be made to use data effectively in schools. Participants create a plan for creating and managing data teams. The two day format of this seminar allows leaders of schools, teams and central office to understand on the relationship between culture and data and builds skills for monitoring and solving problems within school culture. Participants should bring their student performance data and school improvement plans. Participants are encouraged to read Data Driven Decision Making by Marsha Jones and articles by Doug Reeves.

  • Daily Disciplines for Leaders: This workshop for senior leadership teams examines the role of the leader in managing school change and accomplishing the district’s mission. 
  • Data team development: Teacher leaders learn data analysis, data reporting and team leadership.
  • Accountability Design: District-wide planning is facilitated with data analysis and goal setting.
  • School Improvement Planning: Strategy formulation leads to an integrated, targeted strategy.
  • Power Standards Training: Analysis of student performance uncovers critical areas needing improvement.
  • Differentiated Instruction (One to Five Days): Building an understanding of effective combinations of teaching strategies.
  • Equity Walk-Through Training (One to Five Days): Participants learn a variety of tools for closing achievement gaps.
