Making Equity Work Planning Simulation
Planning takes practice. This simulation offers teams a chance to practice the fine art of planning. This practice occurs while asking the challenging question of what are the current priorities for the year ahead. Each team member gets a set of cards that have components of an accelerated improvement process. After the find a sequence that works for them, their team tries it. Comparisons between the team and individual scores offer insights into how to prioritize what makes for accelerated student performance. Insights can also be gleaned from team interaction on how well the team members learned from each others' input. What is the status of current norms for team effectiveness? How clear are the critical priorities for managing organizational improvement?
