History & Philosophy

The Center was founded in 2003 by Dr. Stacy L Scott.  Dr. Scott has had a long history of supporting schools, communities, universities and corporations in creating strategic focus on making diversity a source of strength and creativity.  His philosophy and that of Center associates include:

• Diversity awareness is not to be pursued for its own sake but rather to be put to use in the service of enriching the interactions and productivity of the organization 

• Creativity and high performance are the fruit of healthy individuals and organizations

• Diversity, well managed, is at the heart of a healthy organization

How We Do It

We work with leaders of communities, businesses, civic, and religious organizations to promote development programs and education initiatives.

Our network plays a key role, collaborating with organizations and governments to support positive programs and policies that make a measurable difference in empowering communities, strengthening businesses, and increasing opportunities for sustainable development.
